Employees who work for an organization with such a critical mission shouldn’t be weighed down by ineffective performance management. The CF Foundation had a hard time setting up a system that worked seamlessly for their employees. They had implemented Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) for their Talent Management platform and used it successfully for learning and development but were struggling with building out their performance management process.
Working with another consulting firm proved time-consuming and ineffective. After months of trying with mediocre results and only half of their performance management process built out, the CF Foundation began to look for another partner who could help them make their performance management process a success.
"During our initial kick-off call, we knew right away they were going to be great partners. The eSkillz team had over 10 team members on the call to listen to our concerns, challenges, and goals for the system. They asked insightful questions and showed a commitment to providing best-in-class service."
"[eSkillz] takes the time to explain the benefits and challenges of using certain [CSOD] functionality, as well as sharing best practices from their experiences and other clients. Many of our calls are designed as workshops where we build as we go, learning together in order to create the system that meets our needs. They additionally go above and beyond by offering to create user guides, suggesting and then implementing value adds, and are always responsive and professional."
A functional performance management process has many benefits such as driving increased feedback and communication between managers and employees. It also helps employees to participate in their own development and encourages investment in the company’s mission.
Most importantly, having a streamlined, custom-built performance management process allowed the managers and employees at the CF Foundation more time to focus on the real business at hand, supporting those with CF and the care teams that surround them.
